Hoi, ik ben Marenka, de oprichter van SeekNC (en schuldgevoel-expert)
Ook ik was die moeder die alles half deed.
Altijd het gevoel dat ik tekortschiet: op mijn werk, thuis, overal. Op mijn werk dacht ik aan de was die zich opstapelde, thuis dacht ik aan de presentatie van de volgende dag. Ik probeerde gezonde maaltijden op tafel te zetten, maar ondertussen zaten de kinderen wel te vaak achter een scherm. En als ik eindelijk even zat om te spelen of voor te lezen, was ik met mijn hoofd alweer bij die ene mail die ik nog moest versturen.
Van dat gevoel wilde ik af. Ik wilde weer rust. Een fijn, veilig gevoel thuis, voor mijn gezin én voor mezelf. Dus heb ik het roer omgegooid. Na jaren als contractmanager besloot ik een heel andere richting op te gaan: ik ben begonnen aan de opleiding tot onderwijsassistent. En eigenlijk wist ik het meteen: dit past bij mij. Ik voelde me weer meer mezelf, met ruimte voor meer aandacht en bewustzijn waar ik ook was.
En precies dat gun ik ook andere ouders.
Met de spellen die ik heb bedacht (deels geïnspireerd door mijn eigen jeugd vol spelletjesavonden, deels vanuit de behoefte die ik zag bij mijn eigen zoons en deels vanuit mijn opleiding, wil ik gezinnen helpen om weer te verbinden. Daaruit is eigenlijk ook het idee voor SeekNC ontstaan. Gewoon uit de behoefte om, ondanks alles wat er speelt, samen te kunnen genieten. Zonder stress, zonder schuldgevoel. Gewoon samen lachen, ontdekken en even alles om je heen vergeten.
Want elk gezin verdient die ontspannen, gezellige sfeer.
